Bio
Harrison Foti is a drummer from southern New Hampshire, US. He has played drums for Chanel West Coast and currently performs with Troy Mercy, River Sang Wild and a mixture of other artists. He enjoys being a mixologist of many styles and pushing the limits. As a session player, Harrison has recorded at Abbey Road Studios (London, UK) and many great studios in the US, like Welcome to 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee. His ability to swiftly incorporate an artist's criticisms landed him a spot as the studio drummer of Rocking Horse Studio in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Harrison also teaches private drum lessons and ensembles at The Conservatory at Highlands in Boston, Massachusetts. Harrison's father is the reason he grew up watching VHS tapes of greats like Neil Peart, Buddy Rich and Dennis Chambers. Now, he is heavily influenced by drummers such as Nate Smith, Jojo Mayer, Keith Carlock, Matt Cameron, Dave DiCenso, Benny Greb, Barrett Goeman and many more. Performing Recently, Harrison played drums for Chanel West Coast and his personal projects, River Sang Wild, and Troy Mercy, and various groups across a variety of styles like hip hop, rock, blues, soul, funk, and jazz. Harrison has had the opportunity -- with various projects -- to perform on the Hazy Little Stage at Bank of NH Pavilion before Dave Matthews Band (x2), The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr., Papa Roach, Hollywood, Undead, and Falling In Reverse. Harrison has also opened for the following acts: Blue Oyster Cult, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Puddle of Mudd (x3), Buckcherry, Eric Gales, Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard, Gary Cherone of Extreme, Warrant, Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper, Winger, Tantric, and more. Private Instructing Aside from teaching private home lessons, Harrison is an instructor at The Conservatory at Highlands (Boston, MA). After teaching for more than 5 years, his style is enthusiastic and individual-focused to be sure his students are meeting their unique goals. Speaking fluently in the language of drumming is what he hopes to help people obtain. "When you get to add your own voice to the kit and say exactly how you feel at anytime, that is a truly powerful experience. I too am a student of the drums and work everyday at mastering this." Studio Sessions Most notably, Harrison recorded at Abbey Road Studios in November of 2025 with another session there in April of 2026. Harrison has recorded 3 albums in Nashville, TN at Wild Feather Recording and Welcome to 1979 with Grammy-nominated producers Zach Kasik and Malcolm Springer. He has recorded multiple EPs and singles with producer Benny Grotto at Mad Oak Studio in (Boston, MA). Also, Harrison is a session drummer for Rocking Horse Studio (Pittsfield, NH), working with producer/founder Brian Coombes.
